I lived in Paris for more than four years. Just as photography was born in France, my photography was born there.
I bought my first advanced compact camera, a wonderful Fujifilm X-30, second hand, meeting the seller on the left bank of the Seine. A year later, I bought my first professional camera, a Fujifilm X-T20, at a little photography shop on Bastille Square. The owner called me, and told me the camera I wanted had arrived, but I had two hours to go and pick it up and then he would be on holidays for the whole month of August. Needless to say, I grabbed my Metro ticket and ran to the other side of the City to buy that camera. One of the best decisions of my life.
This is a little sampler of the photos I cherish the most from that time.
